Being Latino Online Magazine Expands with New Editorial Team

Leading online magazine and Facebook Latino community platform Being Latino today announced the expansion of its editorial team.
“The expansion of the editorial team is a goal we’ve had for some time,” says Chief Content Officer Libby Juliá-Vázquez.  ”As our audience has grown, so has the need for expansion in the variety of content we publish. With additional editors we have a strategic focus on content that’s timely and relevant to the Latino community and beyond. I’m happy to have the opportunity to put together an amazing group of talented individuals.”
Under the strategic direction of  the Chief Content Officer, the new editorial team includes:
Nicolle Morales Kern – Managing Editor
Previously Senior Copy Editor, Nicolle will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the magazine including the editorial process, editorial calendar, and writer development.
Irma Sanchez – Content Manager
Irma will be responsible for managing day-to-day content with the scheduling and strategic posting for audience engagement via social media channels.
Eileen Rivera – Entertainment Editor
Formerly Copy Editor, Eileen will be responsible for providing the BL audience relevant content within the areas of  film, TV, and music.
Ryan Almodovar – Lifestyle Editor
Formerly Director of Writer Development, Ryan will be responsible for providing the BL audience relevant content within a variety of areas including personal development, technology, media, and more.
Cindy Tovar – Cultura Editor
Formerly a staff writer, Cindy will be responsible for providing the BL audience relevant content in the areas of food, books, arts, and the Latino culture.
Hector Luis Alamo, Jr. – Political Editor
Formerly a BL contributor, Hector will be responsible for providing the BL audience up-to-the-minute and relevant content in the world of community, national, and global politics.
Adriana Villavicencio – Comunidad Editor
Formerly a staff writer, Adriana will be responsible for providing the BL audience relevant content in the areas of health, education, and spotlight the best and brightest of the Latino community.
